Some Old Picture of WSU

While talk to one of my old friend, he shared with me some of the pictures he had taken at Wright State University. I was real happy to see these pictures as it had some old memories of me. Also, I could clearly make out the difference between Dayton, OH and Los Angeles. There in Dayton, OH we had lots of snow and greenery when compared to Los Angeles which pretty much had the same kind of atmosphere through out the year. Below is the link for picasa web album.

Pasadena Police Classic Car show

"Pasadena Police Clasic Car Show" was hosted at Paseo Colorado Mall in Pasadena along with the "Pasadena Chalk Painting Festival". The cars on the show were all vintage. The oldest I saw was 1923 Ford T.

Check my album for the cool pictures of these cars.

Pasadena Chalk Festival

Pasadena Chalk Festival is one of the best events I have seen recently. It was held on June 16 &17th, 2007. It is one of the largest street painting with more than 400 artists showing their talent. It was held at Paseo Colorado Mall. Viewers had a chance to elect the best murals. We voted for this baby boy painting as our favorite chalk painting.

Had been to Tijuana, Mexico on June 07, 2007. Visited the Revolucion(pronounced as Revolution). The picture of this place was not pleasant. Lot of shops, with bars, clubs and adult places. Not a good place for kids. But you can kill few hours. Also there was lot of bargain for shopping. Below are some pictures.

The Huntington Library, Botanical Garden Pictures

Visited the beautiful Huntington Library, Art Collection and Botanical garden at San Marino, CA on May 26, 2007. As per their official website the Botanical Garden has around 15000 different kinds of plants bought from all over the world. There are different type of Gardens like Chinese garden, Japanese garden, French garden, Desert garden, Children's garden, Rose garden, Desert garden, Herb garden and lots more. They span more than 120 acres.

It has a Free tour and it is the best way to know about this place.

This place has a huge collection of olden times books in the library section. As per the tour guide many scholars come from different parts of the world to do refer these collections.

Also there are some Art collections which are very interesting to see.

Even though it has a library and art collections, it is more of a Botanical garden than anything else. The most I liked in this place is the Japanese garden and the Rose garden. The Chinese garden is still under construction and is expected to open up for public around mid 2008.

Over all it is an one day event and beautiful place for people who appreciate nature. Below are some pictures of this place.
